Pumpkin Time!

In my excitement of the up coming Harry Potter film, I did some wizardly themed pumpkins for Halloween this year! I'm especially proud of Voldermort. He was very tricky... Took me about an hour and a half. For a free template visit...

The HP logo I just did free hand. You can just draw it on there and then cut around the letters. ...

I definitely recommend picking up some pumpkin carving tools at any grocery or drug store. They are cheap and help with the tiny areas, like eyes and hair.

Sylvester the Clown.

In honor of Halloween I'd like to post this very terrifying picture of my favorite clown. His name is Sylvester and he was given to me by my husband, long before he was my husband. In fact, he bought me this clown at a thrift store on one of our first dates.

It's delightfully creepy.

"Still Too Calm"

This is my newest series of collages, called "Still Too Calm". These were based on lyrics by musician Paul Gustafson and the HBO TV series, Trueblood.

I used a combination of acrylic paint, colored pencils, glitter, puff paint, and other various items. Two first two on done on regular ole' cardboard, and the last one is on canvas.

Oh, Heathcliff.

"Nelly, I am Heathcliff! He's always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being."

- Cathy Earnshaw, Wuthering Heights
